Profile of a delegate
Yearly we deploy approximately 120 delegates. We regularly need specialists
in the areas of logistics, water and sanitation, project management,
strengthening organisational capacity and (financial) administration. In
addition The Netherlands Red Cross occasionally seeks medical specialists.
Depending on the situation a delegate can be deployed for a period of 6 to
12 months.
As a Netherlands Red Cross-delegate you have:
Qualifications:
Bachelors, Masters and/or MBA.
Skills:
-Technical skills
- Language skills (English fluent and at least one other modern language)
- Financial- administrative skills
- Training skills
- Communication skills
Attitude:
- The ability to adjust, work in a team and independently.
- Diversity awareness
- Security/ health awareness
- Commitment to Red Cross and Red Crescent
- Involvement of family
Work experience:
- a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience
- experience working in a foreign country
